Alpena

As the eastern most point in Northeast Michigan, Alpena County is full of culture, recreational opportunities, access to beaches, lakes and rivers—and even shipwrecks.  That’s right. Thunder Bay is home to NOAA’s Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Alpena has a vibrant downtown scene, restaurants for the foodie lover, and beverages for the craft beer enthusiast.
