Cheboygan, Indian River, Mackinaw City, Wolverine

As the northern most county in the Michigan’s lower peninsula, Cheboygan County is full of iconic attractions, hidden gems, and opportunities galore for outdoor enthusiasts.  Home of the majestic Mackinac Bridge—or Mighty Mac, as Michiganders often say—state historic parks, quaint shops, numerous state parks and county recreational areas, the inland waterways, and many other attractions, Cheboygan County will not disappoint.  Whether you enjoy riding your ORV/ATV, biking, cross-country skiing, hiking, or boating, you will find an abundance of trails to explore.  Cheboygan was recently given the “Trails Town” designation, and trails are plentiful—for every type of activity. Cheboygan County is also the gateway to Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Mackinac Island, both of which hold a special place in the hearts of Michiganders.
