About the event
***Two locations: Harrisville United Methodist (217 N. State St., Harrisville) & First Presbyterian Church of Alpena (1600 W. Chisholm St., Alpena)***
Our adult trauma workshop is a 5-session course for all adults curious about the impact their own adverse childhood experiences & other traumatic events during childhood has on their adult lives.
This workshop will help you recognize the impact trauma has had on you, help you feel empowered to take positive steps towards healing, understand and manage overwhelming emotion & modify problematic patterns of behavior, develop a strength-based understanding of your life story, seek trauma-focused assessment and treatment (if needed), & take care of yourself.
Sessions are Wednesdays, 3:30pm-5:30pm, March 19th through April 16th.
No Cost to residents of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, & Presque Isle Counties. Out of area cost is $50.
